Ritual, Movement, Archetype, Nature.
For the third year running we frolic through the prodigious spaces of the Cascina Castelletto to coalesce in a temporary "Mythological Community" exploring Ritual, Movement, Archetype, and Nature.
Each day will comprise a physical morning practice, plus morning and afternoon workshop sessions. The evenings will be less structured and present opportunities for more spontaneous activities.
Merging community, mythic, artistic, poetic and magical life, during our week together, we will journey with Cacao, be guided through a Sweat Lodge, put our hands in the earth, craft and create, conduct field work, and make an excursion. Our week will culminate in an open "picnic" style feast in which we will celebrate and present our research as we see fit. In previous years this has taken the form of musical interventions, immersive theatrical journeys, site-specific performance, film-showings, installation, dance, ritual and carnival.
Cooking and basic household tasks will be collaborative, using locally sourced vegetarian, organic ingredients. There will be a free rest day during the workshop time.
