Foolish Friends! The wheel of the year has turned! It is time again to gather in celebration and witness those who have passed before, those from whom we are descended - our ancestors.
We will light the fires and dance our living bodies in remembrance and wonder. This will be a moment to salvage lost soul pieces and reincorporate ourselves as a living part of the earth in it’s perpetual cycles of death and regeneration.
It will be a time of tomb-tending and womb-mending. Walking the land we will weave the stories of our ancestors into a collective tapestry, beneath which we can shelter and open our hearts to the cosy warmth of kith, kin and clan.
Our "Mangé Morts" will be a potent feast in which to explore our freedom to create ceremony in intimate conversation with the dead.
Welcomed to the beautiful Glastonbury retreat centre that is Sambogaya , our community of magical-artistic researchers will once again be treading lightly into the enchanted forests of The Trickster through the embodied, engrounded and artistic processes of the Divine Ridiculous.
Through Dance, Maskwork, Clownery, Craft, Circle-Song, and Mytho-Poetic Act, we will be inquiring in to where our collective and individual intentions mesh with the living ecosystem we are encountering at this special time of year.
This intensive week will culminate in a feast, various presentations & rituals, and myriad artistic outputs, including a film, which will be carefully documented for addition into the Divine Ridiculous archives.
Food and board is provided, non-residential places will also be available.
As soon as you register, you will start to receive prompts and optional learning/research materials. Participants will gain access to the Divine Ridiculous community resources, network and archives.
