The Fool represents freedom, anarchy, divine play. As players, freeing ourselves to become the wild-card, the joker, the trickster, or clown, we place ourselves at the threshold of our conditioned limits and leap beyond them into a lucid dream in which we remember our innocence and begin to shapeshift.
So that's where we begin, at number zero: empty-handed, finding the openness, the vulnerability and the willingness to fail that allows us to risk. The Fool is the Shaman who knows the joke, and this is the Mad Hatters tea party.
Divine Ridiculous is a community of magico-artistic researchers exploring gnostic theatre, ritual performance, trance, embodied practice, and art as a type of esoteric prayer, grounded in the rich soil of divine play, clown, and foolishness.
